So really I was just going through this course to help me to review the information from my Okuden course that I did with the Jikiden Reiki Association. I thought I would be going over the same information as I had done previously, I did note however that a lot of the information had deviated substantially from the Traditional Style I was taught. It was good however to encourage me to review my notes from learning, practice the skills again and observe how other people are taught differently.
I think however that my teaching was taken from someone who learned from Chiyo Yamaguchi, who learned from Hayashi Chujiro Sensei who learned directly from Mikao Usui so I trust that the original way I was taught was correct, especially considering there are securely kept written records.
