So, I was hoping to continue my learning and build on what I already knew from the Jikiden Reiki course, which was brilliant by the way and I did get a new certificate. However, I found that this course had many pieces of misinformation in it. Also, the teacher seemed to struggle with the pronunciation of Carl Gustav Jung and the very important term “Byosen”. She seemed to have a different pronunciation of chakras every time she said it, including when she referred to feet chakras and knee chakras which are not a thing. Also, chakras are not part of Traditional Japanese Reiki. Also contrary to most new age thought, they don’t naturally exist in the subtle body there just happens to be a conjunction of nadis where each one is, they are simply visualised in various places to help your evolution like attunements.
However the course made me dive back into my Jikiden Training notes, where they warned about a lot of the misinformation. It was still a good review of the Shoden material but through other means and the end result was another certificate. So effort well spent.
